1Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number, and password (stored encrypted by Firebase; we never see it).
- Profile data: bio, city, and profile photo if you add them.
- Product data: name, description, price, photos, country and region, and delivery options.
- Messages, orders, offers, ratings, favorites and reports you create on the site.
2What other users can see
- If you sell, anyone can see your product details (name, description, price, photos, country and region, and delivery options), even without signing in.
- Only signed-in users can see your name, photo, bio, city, and, if you sell, your phone number.
- If you write a product review, your name, rating and review are shown to signed-in users.
- Your email address is never shown to other users.
- Messages and orders are visible only to the two people involved.
3How we use your data
- Only to run the site: signing in, showing products, delivering messages and orders, and protecting users from abuse.
- When a conversation is reported, BAZAR's admin team may read that conversation to review the report. Admins can suspend accounts that break the terms of use.
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
4Where data is stored
- Data is stored on Google Firebase (authentication, database and image storage). Your browser also keeps a few settings such as your language.
- Your sign-in ends when you close the browser or tab.
5Deleting your account and data
- You can delete your account from your profile page. This removes your account, seller profile, products and their photos, favorites and ratings.
- Past messages and orders stay visible to the other person, because they are part of their records too.
